Recovery Officer (2)
Position purpose
- The Recovery Officer is responsible for the collection of debts prior to legal recovery proceedings commencing, negotiating payments/payment arrangements, handling debtor enquiries and provides administrative assistance to the team.
- Undertake activities associated with debt collection to minimise outstanding liabilities:
Contact relevant debtors with outstanding debts in line with policy and procedures. - Negotiate, set up and monitor payment arrangements in accordance with delegations and procedures.
- Refer matters to for legal recovery action where necessary
- Liaise with Senior Recovery Officers regarding overdue amounts and debtor payment/non-payment.
- Assisting in the preparation of documentation required for legal information or other purposes.

- Notwithstanding the above, other duties may be required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyze current and past financial data, and provide strategies to cut costs and increase revenue.
